RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University men’s tennis team picked up a pair of victories Saturday in the Greg Adams Center, defeating University of the Cumberlands (7-0) and Cumberland University (7-0). With the two wins, the Colonels move to 6-4 this year.

EKU won every singles match in straight sets.

“We needed today’s matches to build our confidence back up after getting beat up at Louisville earlier in the week,” head coach Rob Oertel said.

Eastern Kentucky is back in action next Saturday, Feb. 28, with a pair of matches against Northern Kentucky and Abilene Christian.
