2009 Scouting Report – The only returning starting linebacker on the squad … an aggressive linebacker who enjoys playing the game … expected to move from weakside to middle linebacker this fall.
At EKU – 2008: Saw action in 11 of 12 games with nine starts at weakside linebacker … missed the Eastern Illinois game on Oct. 25 due to the flu … finished fourth on the squad with 68 total tackles … tied for the team lead with 10 tackles at Tennessee State on Sept. 20 … sealed the win over Jacksonville State on Oct. 11 thanks to his first career interception with two minutes left in the game … also posted eight tackles and a sack against the Gamecocks … piled up eight stops in the NCAA playoff game at Richmond on Nov. 29. 2007: Sat out the season with a back injury. 2006: Played in all 11 games as a back-up linebacker and on special teams … registered his first career sack in the season opener at Cincinnati … tallied at least one tackle in every game … notched a season-high five tackles at Tennessee Tech on Sept. 21 … added three tackles in three other games … finished with two quarterback hurries.
