Adkins joined Eastern Kentucky University Athletics in June 2023 as Assistant Director of Broadcast and Video.
A 2022 EKU graduate, Adkins earned her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting and Electronic Media and later completed her Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in Sport Administration in Fall 2025. While a student, she worked with Communications and Brand Management and the Athletics Video Production (ESPN+) crew, serving as head scholarship student her senior year.
After graduation, Adkins worked as Director of Promotions for Cumulus Media and as a freelance broadcast specialist across Kentucky before returning to EKU in a full-time role.
