Larry Turner

Former EKU standout Larry Turner returned to the Colonel football team this fall as an offensive graduate assistant.

Turner, a two-time All-OVC offensive lineman in 2002 and 2003, was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He went on to play three seasons for the Rams at the center position.

The native of Huber Heights, Ohio then served as the offensive line coach for the Springboro (Ohio) High School Panthers from 2007-09. Before arriving back at EKU, Turner spent two years working as a probation and parole officer in Covington, Ky.

Turner earned his undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky in 2004 and has one son, Justus Lansing Turner (seven).
