Final Results

PINEHURST, N.C. – Eastern Kentucky tied for eighth at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate which concluded today. Freshman Zack Butler led EKU and tied for 18th overall.

The Colonels tied Northern Illinois for eighth place with three round totals of 897. Virginia Tech (876) placed first. Old Dominion (880) finished four shots back. Penn State (887) and UNC Greensboro (887) tied for third.

After posting a two-under par 70 in the first round, Butler dropped back in the field after an 81 in round two. He concluded play with a final round one-under 71.

Johan Eriksson (223) tied for 21st. Jordan Cash (227) tied for 38th.

The Colonels will play at the Ball State Cardinal Collegiate on March 27-28.
