ROCK HILL, S.C. – Heavy thunderstorms overnight have forced the cancellation of Eastern Kentucky University’s softball game against South Carolina-Upstate at the Winthrop/adidas Invitational. The Colonels were scheduled to play the Spartans at 11 a.m., on Sunday.

Eastern will play its first home games of the 2010 season on Wednesday when Western Kentucky visits Gertrude Hood Field for a doubleheader. Game one is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
