RICHMOND, Ky. – The Eastern Kentucky University track and field team will continue the indoor season at Indiana's Gladstein Invitational on Friday in Bloomington.

- Action at Gladstein Fieldhouse gets underway at 3:30 p.m. Track events start at 4:20 p.m. and wrap up around 9:00 p.m. with the 5,000 meters.
- Junior All-American
Charlotte Imer is slated to compete for the first time since running a personal-best 16:16.05 in the women's 5,000 meters on the same track at the Hoosier Open back in early December. That time currently ranks her No. 10 in the country in that event. Imer will run the 3,000 meters on Friday in Bloomington.
- Sophomore
Erick Rotich ran a personal and OVC-best time of 4:12.48 in the men's mile on Saturday at the Kentucky Invitational in Lexington. Rotich is also slated to run the 3,000 meters on Friday.
- Four other Colonels also posted top-five OVC performances at the Kentucky Invitational on Saturday. Freshman
Nickson Rotich turned in an impressive debut in the men's 800 meters, clocking a time of 1:52.80 in the event, which ranks No. 2 in the conference. Junior
Tom Koringo ran 8:33.63 in the 3,000 meters on Saturday, which ranks No. 3 in the conference. Junior
Derayvon Thomas-Randle clocked a personal-best 22.38 in the 200 meters, which ranks No. 5 in the OVC. On the women's side, junior
Haley Yost ran a personal-best 9:59.18 in the 3,000 meters, which is currently the second-fastest time in the conference.

Following this weekend's meet, the track and field team returns to action January 27-28 at the Thundering Herd Invitational in Huntington, West Virginia.
