RICHMOND, Ky. - The defending OVC regular season champion Eastern Kentucky University soccer team announced its 2017 spring practice schedule on Thursday.

Reigning OVC Coach of the Year Nick Flohre and the Colonels open the spring on February 25 by playing Louisville (7:30) and Ohio State (8:30) in Columbus, Ohio.

One month later, on March 25, EKU will play in the WKU 7-a-Side Tournament in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

On April 2, the Colonels will host Kentucky at EKU Soccer Field at 3:00 p.m. On April 8, Eastern will host Canadian club team Toronto Blizzard in Richmond at 3:00 p.m. The very next day, the Colonels hit the road again to face Ohio University in Athens, Ohio at 2:00 p.m.

The spring season wraps up with the annual EKU Alumni Game on April 22 at 1:00 p.m.

EKU enjoyed the biggest turnaround in the NCAA last fall under Flohre, going 13-5-1 and winning a share of its first-ever OVC regular season title.
