RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University athletics will be adding the new Bluegrass RV Zone to its football tailgating experience for the 2017 season, Director of Athletics Stephen Lochmueller announced today.
 
The Bluegrass RV Zone is designed to provide Colonel football fans a unique and unforgettable tailgating experience.  Located in the lower Alumni Coliseum lot and just steps away from Roy Kidd Stadium, the Bluegrass RV Zone is available for both single game and full season passes.
 
"We are very excited to announce this partnership with our friends at Bluegrass RV," Lochmueller said.  "By teaming with Bluegrass RV, we are able to enhance the fan experience for EKU supporters.  This value added addition will offer perks that RV enthusiasts will thoroughly enjoy."
 
Single game passes start at $50 per game, and include two (2) general admission tickets for the game.  Full season passes are available for $200, and include two (2) general admission tickets for each home game.  
 
"It's an honor for Bluegrass RV to begin this partnership with EKU Athletics and we want to welcome everyone to join us before each and every game this season," Bluegrass RV Co-Owner Todd Meade said.  "Bring your motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers out and come be a part of the excitement with the Colonels and Bluegrass RV!"
 
The Bluegrass RV Zone will open at 6 p.m. the Friday before game day and will close at 3:00 p.m. each Sunday following game day.  Tailgating lots for non-RV driving fans do not open until the morning of the game.
