AS A JUNIOR IN 2017
Was second on the team in batting average (.394) … played in 41 games for the Colonels, sat out the other seven due to an injury … led EKU with a .642 slugging percentage after tallying eight doubles, two triples and five homers … took 17 walks … was voted OVC Player of the Week on April 17 after going 7-for-12 (.583) that week with a home run, triple, double, five RBIs and five runs to help lead EKU to three wins … was voted first team All-OVC ... member of the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2016
Led the OVC with a .395 average … started all 54 games for the Colonels … also led the conference with a .498 on-base percentage … ranked second in the league with 42 runs scored … her 62 hits were third best in the OVC … went 23-for-25 on stolen base attempts, ranking second in the league … her 18 multiple-hit games were second best on the team … built a 12-game reached base streak and ended the season on a six-game streak … hit .351 on the year with runners in scoring position … was named NFCA All-Region, First Team All-OVC and to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015
Started  50 games in the outfield and two at catcher … led the team with a .349 batting average … had 11 doubles, two triples, four homeruns and 12 RBI’s to compliment her 53 hits … went 1-of-3 with three runs, one RBI, and one homerun against Wright State (Feb. 28) … went 3-of-5 with two runs and two doubles against Iowa State (March 8) … went 3-of-3 with one run, one RBI, and one triple at Murray State (April 4) … was named to All-OVC Newcomer Team.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played five years of varsity softball for PRP High … a three-time all-district and region selection … 2014 6th Region Player of the Year … second team all-state as a senior … posted a .592 batting average as a junior … also a standout basketball player … ranks fifth on PRP’s all-time scoring chart with 1,288 career points … holds the school record in three-pointers made (153) … named PRP’s 2014 Female Athlete of the Year … a member of the National Honor Society … two-time second team all-state academic honoree.

PERSONAL
Daughter of David Murphy … born on March 20, 1996 … has a brother, Alex, who is an EKU alum … majoring in sport management.
