Welcome To Eastern Kentucky University

  Eastern Kentucky University

There are more than 168 areas of study at Eastern Kentucky University,
all of them designed to help you reach your career goals. When you are
working your way to the top of your profession, the influence of some of the
nation’s top professors will have played a major role in getting you there.
EKU touts professors who have achieved worldwide acclaim in areas as
diverse as forensic science, international business, legal studies, aquatic biology, homeland security and criminal justice, to name but a few.
To ensure your learning experience is the very best, Eastern keeps class
sizes small (17:1 student/teacher ratio). This means you’ll have ample
opportunity to work one-on-one with professors who are dedicated to
teaching.
Not only do you study under world-class professors at EKU, you’ll do so in
one of America’s most beautiful learning environments. Imagine the latest
technology combined with the intimacy of a smaller, carefully planned
aesthetic environment. Eastern students live, learn and have fun in a
centrally located area that lessens your walking distance between classes
and keeps you close to the essentials of college life (such as food and coffee). Interspersed throughout the campus are green spaces and an amphitheater that provide quiet, natural areas of study and solitude.
